Wine barrel aged wild ale

This ale was brewed and cellared in oak wine barrels in August of 2016 (one month before we opened). It aged in wood for 3 years, then steel for 1 year. The beer was then transferred into bottles for conditioning before being sold to you.

This wild ale features a bright aroma of pineapple and a touch of oak. It pours with a meringue-like head. The beer is golden straw in color with a slight haze. Ripe pineapple from the wild yeast fermentation jumps out as the prominent flavor, followed by notes of pale malt, and oak from barrel aging. Light and airy mouthfeel with a super dry finish.
