New England’s best stand-up comedians

Join us at Shakey’s Comedy Shack (i.e. the brewery) as we host New England’s best comedians and drink New England’s best beer! This months lineup is:

Headliner: Laura Severse

Laura Severse is a native Boston comic, actor, and writer. She is a devoted wife, working mother of two, and a gifted storyteller. Laura brings her hard-working, heartfelt approach to life to stages across the country.

Laura has opened for Tim Dillon, Iliza Schlesinger, Big Jay Oakerson, Jay Larson, and Erik Griffin. She has performed with Gary Gulman, Lenny Clarke, and Jimmy Tingle. Laura regularly headlines Nick’s Comedy Stop, The Comedy Scene, The Attic, and venues all over New England and beyond.

With: John Tyler

When not hanging out in rest stop men’s rooms, John Tyler can be found making audiences laugh up and down the East Coast. John is a Massachusetts native with 4 years experience as a comic. John is a regular at the Comedy Attic in Worcester and has performed at the famous Nick’s Comedy Stop in Boston.

With: Brandon Pires

Brandon Pires is an up and coming comic out of Worcester. Brandon has been doing shows all over New England for the last few years. He actually won a competition in Boston one time. When he isn’t doing comedy he is growing cannabis (legally) in Fitchburg so he desperately needs comedy to work out for him.

Mairead is a comic from Houston, TX with a background in improv and sketch comedy who now performs standup from Worcester to Boston. Her comedy is inspired by a lifetime of shyness, working from home for too long, and raising a pandemic baby.
